I was very impressed with these sponges. I bought these hoping I wouldn't have to throw them out as often as other types of yellow sponges and they live up to expectations! There are 5 adults in my family and we only rotated 3 of the 4 sponges in a pack for 5 months before I added the 4th sponge to the rotation. The picture shows a 5 month old sponge and a new sponge, the first one is still usable in my opinion although you can see that it has shrunk in size. I could just try sewing the holes. In any case MUCH MUCH STRONGER than a regular sponge that can last up to 3 weeks. These sponges are also surprisingly clean due to their softness. The bamboo material is great for cleaning things without scratching them, and even the colorful stitching around the edges is good texture for removing even tougher things. The best sponges I've ever used in my search for a durable, eco-friendly, and functional option.
