Review on O-Cedar Scrunge Heavy-Duty Scrub Sponge: Odor-Resistant, Multi-Surface, and Lasts 20% Longer (Pack of 6) by Lisa Wilson

I bought these sponges with some trepidation. I read a professional review that ranked O'Cedar sponges as the best on the market. However, numerous reviews of Revain note that the sponges are short-lived and even clean like Mr. Erasers. I agree with the professional reviews. These are the best sponges I have ever used! The scrubbing side is dense, durable and does a full job without scratching surfaces. In addition, no dirt sticks to the scrubber like with my popular blue or yellow/green sponges. I've found O'Cedar sponges to last just as long, if not longer than the more popular sponges I've used for years. When O'Cedar sponges begin to break down, they tend to crumble. However, the popular scrubbing pads I've used tend to tear when they break. Basically, a sponge falls apart as it decomposes. So crumbling or spilling isn't a big deal. I wonder if consumers who wear out sponges quickly have hard water? Perhaps the chemicals/minerals in the water are affecting the durability of the sponges? Luckily we have good quality tap water in our area. Maybe there is a connection between the quality of the tap water and the lifespan of the sponge? In any case, based on my experience, I highly recommend the O'Cedar Scrunge Sponge!
