First of all I have repaired many controllers and replaced many skins over the years. The reason I bought this was because it's the shade of green I was looking for and it was supposed to come with tools, which it didn't have (luckily I had tools from previous builds, it would have been nice though). , it would be an optional set ) So the color is there, assembly is easy and everything went as it should, I left the factory buttons however as I didn't want it to look like a big piece of green and the factory buttons contrast nicely with green. The electronics fit well and don't wobble at all, but here's what I found on this brand of case. that's how it came to me. The plastic case is very thin and definitely won't be as durable as others I've used. Poor fit, there are a few gaps and protruding edges as seen in the photos, particularly on the side rails. Affected. However, the price wasn't bad, a few dollars more years. You can get a much stronger shell with no gap issues and a much better fit. Overall, I wouldn't buy this brand again due to the poor fit, nor would I recommend it for durability unless you're an adult and unlikely to abuse your controller. My personal opinion: save money and buy a higher quality shell replacement. Gaps that I found during installation, especially in the area of the handles. They dig into your hand during gameplay and become quite uncomfortable after a while. In addition, there are sharper edges on both sides in the trigger area. These issues will require complete disassembly and I will attempt to sand these edges down with very fine wet sandpaper. Even if this plastic body is thin, a more aggressive response behavior when refining the mentioned areas is not recommended. At the beginning of this review I only gave 2 stars because the electronics fit well. Having to completely disassemble this controller and fix the sharp edges that would result in more gaps brings it to 1 star.
