This tool box is very sturdy and I love that it has a shelf at the top to put my most used tools. I also like the little box inside for nuts, bolts, etc. Everything is very handy.

This is an unreliable tool box. It's not that expensive so I didn't think it would be super strong, but parts of the toolbox broke off when trying to get it out of the box. More like a toy box for children.

I originally carried my tools in a heavy duty cloth pouch but the heavy duty pouch doesn't stand up to drilling so my fiancé surprised me with it. It holds all my tools and then some, and is also easy to store in our tiny apartment.

I was happy to give a tool chest to store my small collection of tools. I received this toolkit and it was rejected. At the top were two small compartments with lids and one lid didn't even close properly. So much for Black & Decker. You can't trust anyone right now. damaged goods.

I do a lot of electrical work in both residential and commercial settings, so we have a lot of moving parts that are needed to complete any project. This box is perfect to separate it. Don't buy it and expect it to stuff your entire tool bag in it, be realistic, it does exactly what it's supposed to.

Totally impractical to use as a toolbox, it's absolutely tiny which explains why many reviewers use it as a sewing or craft kit. To store most of your general purpose tools (a couple of screwdrivers, a socket wrench, a hammer, a hacksaw, etc.) skip this, you will be very disappointed when it arrives and you will find your tools don't fit.

I agree with some of the other reviews that it might be too flimsy to hold a few heavy tools. Last year I was looking for the best way to organize my sewing supplies and tools. And the sewing baskets are too small. Once you start sewing you will have thread, needles, safety pins, thread and all sorts of small items that you need to keep in one place so you can find them when you need them and it totally suits your needs. I am very happy with it and feel so organized now.

TL;DR: Great tool box with a design flaw on the inner tray handle to allow small items to fall into the larger compartment. This tool box does what a tool box is supposed to do; Hold many kinds of tools. It was just what I needed to replace the old bag I used to keep my tools in. The ONLY issue I had was that the inner tray handle has a gap underneath that allows small items to get into the large storage space. Since the tray is meant to hold small items, this appears to be a design oversight…
