I'm a gimbal fan for my smartphone but I need an upgrade for my DSLR. It's still compact but fits in both smartphones and smaller cameras, which I like. It's a bit heavier, but still easy to hold with one hand. A few tips I found while trying it out: 1) When opening the stabilizer from the foldable storage compartment, slightly twist the two parts apart to push them apart. At first I struggled with it a lot. 2) If your gimbal still goes to sleep after powering on, make sure the red lock button is off. I suspect it's not intended to be used in free roam mode as the gimbal will go to sleep every time it tries to rotate.
