Review on ๐ŸŽฎ [Updated] Hand Grip for Nintendo 2DS XL: Includes 1 Stylus and 1 Clear Case by Guillo Tilden

Revainrating 1 out of 5

Loose enough to break

EDIT: It's been a month since I haven't owned this and I need to change my rating. The handle is so loose that my 2ds fell out twice when picking up the system by the handle (how else can you pick it up). My 2ds has fallen to the ground twice from this grip, so far with no visible effects, but I expected it both times. I have a feeling it's only a matter of time before my 2ds falls out of this grip and I pick it up again with a bang. The grip itself still works well and feels just as snug in the hands, but you don't have to break your 2d to get that kind of comfort. If you absolutely need a hold, this is probably and sadly still the best, but give it a try and see how you take it. I love this grip and it is pretty much what is advertised and what I expected. However, after "locking" it feels a bit loose. It doesn't affect gameplay, but sometimes I feel a bit awkward in my hands when I move my thumbs, and it moves the grip away from 2ds a bit. Currently I don't think I'll ever be able to unlock it that way, but I think it will be an issue in the future when the plastic wears out enough. It also just feels out of place again. It's like I'm holding the two pieces together with my hands instead of the handle + 2ds interlocking and acting as one. It may also be that I received a used handle as my box was a bit torn when I received it. However, I assume that I will have to replace these in a year. And I'll probably come back to it again because I still believe it's for the best, for better or for worse.
