Works but doesn't fit

The stopper we received looked exactly like the one we had which had broken (it turned out the right spring had run out). It worked just like the old one, but with the thickest rings, it barely fit down the drain. But it stops and stops the water as it should. All thinner rings were too small. The best part about this style is that you can fix and unlock the stop without calling a plumber.
