The only problem was that the magnet was so strong that when I used it to install new spark plugs and tried to pull the socket out of the spark plug, the socket detached from the extension before it pulled away from the Spark plug loosened. And not because the extension cord would have held weakly to the outlet. The two were closely coupled. The magnet is too strong. This led to some difficult attempts to pry the bushing out of the rather inaccessible spark plug tubes with needle nose pliers. So for removing old stubs it worked fine for me but not for installing new ones.
