The images are slightly distorted even though they are only a few meters from the ceiling. Not bad, it's not recognizable, but it's not always a clear picture. I like that it has color images. Most of them just project shapes with no color. I also like that you can adjust the brightness. The low setting is ideal for sleeping. My biggest complaint is that the top circle has no protective plastic. It has a round disc image and a plastic rim. My kids keep getting up and bumping around on top causing the screen to fall down. It's hard to pick up from there, and many already have scratches from it. A protective coating on both sides of the film would also be nice. In general we have had many different projectors and this one is my favorite so far.
