No I don't like it but it's the only lift available for my already aging awesome. This elevator appears to be made out of cheap cast iron. Install this lift onto the new lift motor assembly, then wait for the wedges in the lift to gnaw and spit out. Destruction may take days or months, but it will happen. Addendum: I contacted Dometic customer service and complained about the durability of the lifting arm. Dometic sent me a complete motor and lift arm kit which I installed on my fan. The vent works perfectly with the parts supplied by Dometic.
