They are extremely easy to install, just follow the instructions provided and you can have them installed in less than 30 minutes. Two tips. First, don't over-tighten the plastic nuts that hold them in place. Just push them until they stop moving. Second, don't remove the back panel, just remove the body color insert, reinstall the rear brake light, and reconnect the wiring. It's a bit tight but very manageable unless you have unusually large hands! Once installed and connected they look great and power up when the engine is started. You don't have to turn on the headlights for them to work. Think of them as daytime running lights for your RZR!
