I had a pair of Italian slip on shoes very similar to these that I paid in excess of $300 for (that lasted about 10 years) and these are very comparable in quality.First off, these are amazingly comfortable. The sole is rubber (much like a tire tread).For people complaining that this is a thin shoe that reminds them of a flip flop.that’s kind of the point. They’re meant for comfort and relaxation. They achieve that goal and more. I usually wear well designed, "luxury” brands. These shoes are right up there in terms of quality.
