Everything about this product is legit except the sorry excuse for a striker that it comes with. The striker is completely garbage and useless. The edges on the scraper are not sharp enough to get a good spark. I ended up using a corona sharpener as seen in the photo as a scraper and now this thing is perfect and works every time. I will also note that this ferro rod that it comes with is a beast but definitely on the harder side especially against the ones made by 4db. Overall i think this product is good but it is pretty heavy and large for packing. I just keep it in a emergency kit and forget about it or bust it out on camping trips to use for the cool factor.
