I put one of these on all four sides of the house. They are mounted so high that no one can touch them. I also bought a sign that said 24 hour security. There have been many problems in our area in recent months. Several neighbors have installed security cameras, but I just can't afford the expense. However, I installed a security system. With my security badge and security camera badge and the way the cameras look, I think it's effective. I had several neighbors who approached me and talked about cameras, which they thought was a good idea. I have not told anyone they are not genuine as that would defeat the purpose.
