I'm the guy who pulls the headphone cord so far that my phone gets thrown off the treadmill more than once. (I fell once too, but more on that later.) I'm a runner who doesn't feel safe wearing noise-cancelling headphones outside. These earbuds tick both the boxes: no cords to accidentally get tangled while running, and clear sound that's loud enough while still being able to hear everything around me for my safety. They're extremely comfortable (I've added a head-enclosing rubber insert), easy to switch on and set up, and connect to my iPhone quickly and seamlessly. I looked at them for a long time and the price fell and I pounced on it. Super glad I did. I've tried at least 8 bluetooth headsets and all have failed in one way or another. This is my number one choice for running, treadmill, or elliptical trainer.
