It only took me about five minutes to hook up the shower and it was exactly what I expected. The pressure in the shower was excellent even though I removed the existing regulator from the shower connection. I left the controls in the 3-way connector, shower head, and handheld. They seem to be more than enough. Before replacing the shower head, the pressure varied between high and low. This is no longer a problem. Yes, the product is made of chrome-plated plastic. However, it seems to be more durable than some of the other reviews say. Individual parts are lighter than a traditional solid steel shower head, although it weighs slightly more overall. This is a fantastic shower head if you're looking for something in the mid-range price range. Anyone who is worried about not wanting to be relegated to the "middle class" should still get this shower head. It's worth it.
