Review on AQA Synthetic Monitoring by Aaron Franklin

I like that it allows me to monitor every aspect of our website, including all web applications as they relate directly or indirectly to each other; plus we also have an agent monitoring for us in case something does go wrong so there is zero downtime. The interface isn't always intuitive which makes management difficult when multiple people are working at once (like during live migrations). There's no real way to know how many users/visitors came from where unless you specifically track this information down using another tool - not ideal since most analytics tools cannot be used together wtih any synthetic products. We had issues tracking who was accessing what site but were able solve them eventually by doing some manual research into server logs and finding out exactly where traffic originated through Google Analytics & 3rd party sources. The best thing about this product is that it gives you complete visibility of all your application server health. It does not need any additional software or hardware to be installed, which makes it very easy to use. The interface is also quite user friendly. Sometimes, there are issues with the health checker sometimes, which slows down the process. It has been able to provide me with full visibility of my application servers' health.
