The exhaust tip fits well, is easy to fit and adds a little sparkle to my ride. My existing exhaust pipe was in good condition with minimal rust, allowing it to move with minimal effort. It fits snugly and it would be important to clean it of rust before installing it. I used an angle grinder to cut about 4 inches off my existing pipe to keep the new tip from sticking out the side too much. This tip adds about 4 inches of length when you simply add it to your existing exhaust pipe. The chrome finish feels premium and looks sleek.
