According to YouTube tests, the picture is brighter and richer than that of Panasonic 4K classmates. I recommend ating the firmware to 1.02 (on the Sony official website, it is ated in the camera in 20 minutes), so that stabilization on a tripod does not turn off. It was 1.01 and when installed on a tripod table, the green tripod icon lit up, now it doesn’t. Due to the new stabilizer, there was a greater stability of the picture. In the dark, it shoots no worse than the previous Sony 1080p.
- 4K. Suspension of the lens lens on an active stabilizer (like DJI OSMO) inside the case, without a rigid mount. The lens now seems to be following (moving) the subject.
- Sony changed the tripod cable connector for the third time. Unfortunately, the bundle: Sony vct-50av tripod - Sony FDR-AX53 4K camcorder did not work via the Sony A/V R VMC-AVM1 (JJC Cable-MULTI2AVR) cable adapter. Operates: Sony RM-VPR1 / Sony RM-S1AM type shutter remote control with tripod mount.
