These shakers are a fun shape (IMHO) but are all Italian Spode Blue. An elegant and stylish addition to the Blue Italian range. Yes, unfortunately they are made in China. Spode outsources all of its porcelain products to China. Pottery is still made in England, but it's not. However, they are still quality items. Another reviewer complained that the shakers aren't labeled, giving you a 50-50 chance of getting salt or pepper. Em. Count the holes on top (Yeah) The salt shaker always has more holes than the pepper. Anyway, I don't have to worry about other reviews. From where I'm sitting, these are great shakers.
