Review on 🎧 Sainellor Stretchable Bone Conduction Headphones: Wireless Sports Headsets for Running, Driving, Cycling (Grey) by John Castle

Customizable, but that's not enough for me.

One of the main limitations of bone conduction headphones is that the transducers must fit snugly against the skin for optimal sound quality. Any air gap and not only do you get sound leaks, but the volume is greatly reduced. Because I have a very large head, the strap on these headsets is often NOT big enough to hold the transducer heads against the bone just in front of my ears. I was hoping that this one, with its adjustable strap size, would finally give me a strap big enough to work well (let's just say I've tried at least 5 other brands of bone conduction headphones), but unfortunately it didn't turn out to be the case. First, the build quality is good. Any problem I had was solely related to my unusually large head. The band is solid and the pieces feel solid with silicone coating and a very solid structure unlike another brand I've tried before that just broke through normal daily wear (albeit on a big head). Second, the strap is really adjustable. by 9mm on each side, giving you almost 1/2 inch of extra room if you need it. Again I missed it, but it's definitely not his fault. The sound quality is quite tolerable, not even tight-fitting. It turns out that the extra length allows the transducer to sit right over my tragus instead of in front of my ear. I know I'm surprised at the size of my head. The battery capacity is excellent, regularly exceeding 8 hours of battery life with all-day listening. So if you find that existing bone conduction headsets don't work for you, give them a try. . This might be what you need.

Pros
  • β˜… Bone Conduction Technology. Bone conduction is the transmission of sound to the inner ear primarily through the bones of the skull, allowing the listener to perceive sound content without blocking the ear canal. Sound is transmitted through the skull directly to the auditory nerve without passing through the eardrum, reducing permanent damage to the eardrum. Open-ear headphones can also react to external danger signals
