My almost 3 year old twins love Charlie Brown so I wanted to get them some kites for their last trip to the beach. I really wanted to have diamond kites, but I have bad childhood memories of them breaking all the time. After searching for easy to fly kites, I discovered these octopus kites. I liked that they came in a pack of three neutral colors - one for each twin and one for when they inevitably lose/break their kite - and that they were reasonably priced. We had a blast flying these kites on the beach, even with a very light breeze (we had to run a bit to dissipate them). They *were* easy to fly, simple, sturdy, and strong enough for my twins. They're also easy to pack and carry (no more breaking sticks). I just wish they were stored in a cloth tote bag, not a thick plastic bag. Hope these hold up for a while.
