This little air machine. My son has been one of the biggest balloon lovers in the world for many years. Once he was strong enough to blow up balloons with his own mouth, we got this machine to stop him from doing it (because we didn't want him constantly putting latex/chemicals/balloons in his mouth). We also didn't want anyone else to put balloons in his mouth while playing with him, as he often likes to pick up balloons by the part that goes in his mouth after tying. Soon he wasn't so scared of that car anymore and started inflating his own balloons. Of course, many people pop a balloon or two until they get a feel for the technique - the air is pretty strong! It's great when you use it to inflate lots of balloons (which we do for birthday party balloons in our family and balloon decorations). Even for a balloon or two, if you're doing this and already have a car, it's worth using a car instead of blowing it up by mouth. I've docked a few stars because I think it would be very helpful if the machine's power/airpower could be adjusted so we don't waste good balloons and because it's VERY LOUD. Otherwise, after you develop the technique/feel I talked about earlier, everything will work fine and it will probably go a lot faster/smoother.
