The 74 ounce container was the real reason I bought it

Since last Thanksgiving I've been ready to replace my only gift glass container. I accidentally put it in the microwave on a tall lid and deformed that lid beyond repair or use. These lids are also not microwave safe. Glass is heavy and durable. They're easy to clean and don't feel too hot after I've warmed them up in the microwave. This is a great addition to my growing kitchen glassware collection. By the end of this year, I aim to have my house almost permanently free of plastic containers.
