Not for large pots or jugs

I bought it to brew iced teapots but the kid doesn't attach a strainer so it can't be used in a jug. It can only be used in a mug/cup so the side handles keep the lid/top of the filter above the water level. It should not be advertised as suitable for use in a pot or jug. The description suggests what it could be. Every tea strainer I've ever sealed was sealed. I'm disappointed.
