Hard water rings are almost impossible to remove. After trying smelly vinegar treatments, Lime Away, CLR, and scrubbing to exhaustion, I started reading about pumice toilet screens. I figured 10.00 would be a cheap price if they worked and wouldn't break the bank if they didn't. Well that's the BEST 10.00 I've spent in decades. We have very hard water here in the high Arizona desert and it only took a few minutes (less than 5) for the bowl to get rid of the hard, crusty ring and be smooth again with little pressure. I removed about half the water from the bowl and continued to soak the stone, sprinkling water on the part I was working on. This will definitely change the rules of the game. No extra cleaning, no harsh chemical smells, or buying products that don't work. I think 6 bars is enough for many months.
