I was skeptical that this duvet would survive the first night. Although it claims to be cool, I fully expected to have to pack it up and bring it back when the weather turned colder as I always get hot when I sleep. I was positively surprised. Really really surprised! I sleep with it for a while and it's not too hot, I didn't have to take it off in the middle of the night and it's so comfortable to sleep under, my only regret is that I won't be able to find this blanket sooner. I have a microfiber comforter and use only that, no top sheet. Lulled into snuggly softness, I sleep well...a happy respite after so many restless, sweaty nights. The quality of the blanket is excellent. I haven't noticed any problems with loose stitching or bad stitching. There are tabs on all corners that make it easy to tie the duvet to the duvet to keep it from slipping into the cover. The duvet comes with two white silky bamboo pillowcases. I wasn't originally planning on using them but decided to give them a try and found them comfortable and cool, the perfect complement to a duvet. At the current price of $69.99 I think the kit is excellent value for money. I am very satisfied with this blanket and can recommend it unreservedly.
