Why put a magnet in a phone case? What a stupid design choice. My wife bought it for her new iPhone. She bought it because she always carried leather wallets that could fit a few cards and cash so she didn't have to worry about separate storage when she was running errands or working. She liked the idea of being able to easily pull the phone out of the outer case for calls, photos and selfies. Unfortunately, she bought it not knowing that magnets will ruin your credit cards after long-term exposure, so keeping credit on it isn't a good idea. or debit cards in this case. It's also a lot heavier due to the magnet, even with an inner case. In this case, heavier does not mean better protection. Magnets do not absorb shock. Finally, the magnet is likely to block wireless charging since the inner case isn't much thicker than other non-magnetic leather cases that allow wireless charging. This case completely blocks the iPhone's new MagSafe feature. I didn't give it a star because the name has the word 'Magnet' in it, it just isn't in any of the descriptions. And it allows you to take out the inner case. But overall, this product is just poorly thought out. I didn't notice my wife's mistake in purchasing on time, but hopefully this review will give you some time to think before you buy.
