My friend convinced me to buy this instead of the black Fast Straps and I've tried to do as much research as I can. It's comfortable, safe and appears to be well built. Being a little 5ft 6 in person I had to pull it up significantly and tie an extra thong because there was too much of it! I thought he would stay behind me if I had to move him out of the way. or flex/forward/down but tends to slide down and forward Since I mainly use SL1 and smaller lenses, I'm not sure a bigger and heavier camera with a bulkier lens would be safer on my back if I she wants to stay there . There's even a sliding clip that allows you to limit the movement of the camera so it slides forward on the strap, but it still doesn't hold it behind your back when needed. If the strap were tighter and I'm not so short, maybe it would stay where I want it to be better. It works as expected, stays close to me comfortably and slides out nicely to take photos when needed. The quick release function is practical. Overall I expected a little more for the price paid.
