This is a replacement power adapter for Microsoft Surface. Everyone seems to know that the cable from the power adapter to the Surface has several places where bending during normal use will quickly cause the cable to fail. This is the third power supply I have had to buy in two years. What is needed is a design where (1) the cable can be disconnected and easily replaced in the event of a failure without having to replace the power converter black box, and (2) strain relief devices are provided at both ends of the cable to allow for help prevent these failures. this happens fairly quickly and frequently.
