They are great for serving large batches of food on the grill or pan. I usually cover them with aluminum foil and use a layer of parchment paper for raw meat going on the grill, this makes cleaning easier and the foil works well as a buffer for hot meat and veggies if they come loose. The trays are reasonable for hot food, but don't leave them near a heat source after it's all on the grill. I use two stacks for larger items like whole chickens, pork belly, brisket, etc. They're a good size and can go in the dishwasher. For the price I was very happy with them and the set I got last year has held up great. We've also used them to feed little kids and make trays so there's no mess.
