I've been tinting my lashes on and off for years. Between the quarantine downtime and my salon's price hikes a while ago, it's been the perfect storm. I also painted them at home. I was thrilled to find lash color at Revain, but the cream developer sold separately was $34! I did a little research and dared. I used a 10 volume liquid developer sold by Sally for $2. TWO, that's not a typo! The formula may be more runny than originally designed, but I haven't had any issues. I smeared my eyes with petroleum jelly and cut pieces of cotton pads. I am delighted with my results. It was easy to mix and apply and will save me tons of time and money making this at home.
