Okay, I'm not a technician, so excuse me if I don't know the correct jargon. I bought an SD card for a new Sony camera that needs these specs to record 4k video. I put the card in my camera with no problems, but when I transferred it to my Mac, I can't read the card properly. It took me about 3-5 times for my computer (MacBook Pro) to read the postcard. It keeps saying errors and ignores or ejects the drive. Tried this on another iMac, same problem, so I knew it wasn't my laptop. When I finally get the computer to read the card, everything looks fine. The file looks good, the transfer is stable (not too slow, but not very fast either). But when I take it out and put it back in my computer, it's the same problem. The card is either not read at all, or the computer says there is a problem with the card so it cannot be read, or it reads the card after 3-5 attempts to connect/disconnect it from the computer. I'm not sure if it's a bad SD card or if something happened between ejecting my Sony card to my Mac. In any case I will order another SD card and see what happens. I have always used Sandisk and would be disappointed if it didn't work as I tend to be brand loyal which was my days. If that doesn't work I can let you know here and/or just order a Sony SD card instead. Hope this helps 🤪
