Buyer beware. Tested at 83MB/s. Fake SanDisk Extreme Pro170MB/s?

I have decided to upgrade my DSLR's SD memory card to an SD memory card with faster read/write speeds. I used a Samsung 64Gb EVO which I paid $9.99 for. Using the SpeedOut software (on my Windows 10 PC with an integrated SD card reader) I achieved read speeds of up to 82 MB/s. Last week I decided to pay double ($19.99) for twice the speed (170MB/s). Just received a SanDisk Extreme Pro 64Gb/170MB/s from Revain. Before installing it in my camera, I decided to test it with the same SpeedOut…

    First failed

The first card I bought only had 2GB of memory before inexplicably deleting or losing all subsequent images. Photos appeared on the map through my camera when I looked at them, but they completely disappeared when I returned home and turned on the camera. And only the new images on the map have disappeared, not the old ones. . If I exceed a certain number of images, they will not be saved to the card. It took some time back and forth, but eventually SanDisk replaced the card. It took a while…

Not as soon as announced. But still a good UHS-I card

I was surprised to find this card at the same price as the Extreme Pro 95MB/s that has been available for a while. Almost twice the reading speed for the same price? Brilliant! It's not that fast. If you read the fine print on the SanDisk website or on the product packaging, you'll see that it requires proprietary technology to achieve the full 170MB/s read speed. Otherwise, it achieves the highest standard UHS-I speed of 90 MB/s reading and 80 MB/s writing. (It's called the default for some…

MAC PROBLEM? 🤷🏼‍♀️ Port Sony Camera to Mac 💻

Okay, I'm not a technician, so excuse me if I don't know the correct jargon. I bought an SD card for a new Sony camera that needs these specs to record 4k video. I put the card in my camera with no problems, but when I transferred it to my Mac, I can't read the card properly. It took me about 3-5 times for my computer (MacBook Pro) to read the postcard. It keeps saying errors and ignores or ejects the drive. Tried this on another iMac, same problem, so I knew it wasn't my laptop. When I finally

More capacity for the money (but also slower than the Pro 300)

01/07/2020: This memory card will NOT work with the Canon EOS R when recording videos. With a V30 rating on this map, you need a V60. At first I shot 4K/30fps with the ALL-i option, but I started to choke. Then I realized since I had only recently received this camera that it needed a V60 card. I know the V90 is even faster, but much more expensive. Definitely an amazing memory card for the price as the 300MB/s version is much larger. I don't want my rating to crush this product at all as I…

This review is for the new generation 128GB model. A non-yellow tab indicates at first glance that the card is not counterfeit. However, this does not seem to be a problem with "New Generation" cards. The product has an unembossed "Made in Malaysia" label on the back. The only thing that confuses me is the part number. The only thing that makes sense is that this card is NOT a US market card, which could very well be why some people are having trouble with US market cameras. I strongly…
