I bought it to work outside in dusty and cold conditions and it's a real find. Of course, I could just use a dust mask, and sometimes I do, but this shirt allows you to pull it up over your nose and back in an instant. In cold weather, you can really appreciate the face covering aspect of running or cycling. When folded, it looks like a turtleneck sweater. This is a very tight weave so the UV protection should be pretty good. It's also very light, so you can even squeeze it into a backpack. I bought another one shortly after the first purchase. Great shirts!
