I never had to crank it to max, the highest I had was medium. I love that it actually oscillates, which was helpful when I was walking back and forth from my desk to my printer. I like that there is an option to use this wired or wireless. I keep it on a cord most of the time, but there have been times when I've taken it to the bathroom counter, closet, or even to the kitchen and I haven't had to plug it in. I like that it looks like this. Cactus, great little feature. I saw that there are different color options but the green is really nice. As you can hear in the video, it got a little noisy when I cranked it to maximum. I had it in the kitchen and the noise was only coming from the fan. I have a wooden table that I shot a video on and since there is nothing underneath the vibrations can be a bit loud. If you have it on a harder surface then there is absolutely no vibration noise, only fan noise. Also, the amount of air that this little fan expels is really high. It is easy to move and takes up virtually no space.
