It has been almost a week since I first used this dark brown product. My experience has been good and bad. Let me start with the good first: 1 - I am severely allergic to PPD and have not had an allergic reaction to this product before. So far so good.2 - Coverage is good. Very well painted over the gray hair.3 - It is not difficult to apply. Now for the bad: 1 - Smell! It's terrible. I really hate the smell. Almost like homemade. And it takes a few washes for it to go away. 2 - color. One word: purple. I have used other products that turn purple but this product had a purple tint from the first use. At first I thought it was just my bathroom light but my 11 year old asked me why I dyed my hair purple and he told me it was indeed purple. which are more suitable for me, which are easier to use. Ultimately, due to the smell and the purple tint, I will no longer use the product. I prefer the hair color from Cosmo. It has multiple color options and while some of them turn purple, they have a few colors with more red undertones that don't turn purple for me.
