Although they are designed for use in the kitchen, I still decided to purchase these gloves for work on the picking line. (I work in a warehouse) I used to have leather gloves that ripped after two weeks and I decided to try them. I had to get used to the hands (they are made of metal) but once I got used to them I started to work much more efficiently. I can take crates with me in any way that is convenient for me. Products that are tightly packed in boxes are much easier for me to reach. Collisions that usually result in bleeding cuts felt like light scratches on my arm. In fact, not only am I not concerned about the gloves being ripped (like my leather gloves), I'm even more concerned about the boxes being damaged by my gloves if I'm not careful. They work great. They give me a sense of freedom in how I can use my hands while I work. If the price is not too high for you, I can highly recommend them. Wear them over other gloves if you're concerned about metal contact with your hands.
