Great product; I've tested it several times for waterproofing (including taking it on a transatlantic flight) and so far it's holding up great, keeping my computer, papers and everything else completely dry. My only complaint is that it has an odd rubbery smell, but this trait may be unique to my particular bag and it seems to fade with use. If not, I buy deodorant. The foam padding for my 13-inch Macbook Pro seems to offer adequate protection, although I suspect the case is still vulnerable to being hit by a sharp object. However no. Scratches or dents after two weeks of international travel. I'm glad the inner pocket is detachable, that can be a nuisance if you have a lot of things. This is a limitation of the bag: it doesn't carry too much, especially when it comes to bulky items (e.g. a megazoom digital camera in a soft case). Folders for A4 paper are also not suitable - you need a standard size. But if you travel light, this is a great, lightweight, durable suitcase. .
