The rubber pads fall off
The rubber pads on this model are just small bushings that fit over thin metal clips on the clip. They keep slipping under the weight of the items I'm holding as they are not attached to the clamp in any way. I finally gave up and just took them off and the remaining clip without them is very flimsy and doesn't withstand much friction. This will probably work fine if you don't use it in the down direction. But I want it to support a collapsible blue screen and gravity is too much for that.
