Bought to hang a wall light where a cast iron vent pipe was in the wrong place. If you follow the directions carefully, you won't have a problem getting it through the 4 inch hole you cut in the drywall; Two flat edges allow it to slip into a 4" round hole, and with a little tilt and dexterity you can rotate things where you need them without having to cut additional "ears". One thing that could have been a bit better would be slightly longer screws for the outer ears. Once textured on the 5/8" drywall, it can be slightly thicker than 5/8" and then tightened very firmly with the short screws provided. I was a little afraid of breaking my ears. But in the end it worked. It's also quite expensive for what it is; Plain old round boxes are usually only a dollar or two at a hardware store. Even as a special item, a price of around €5 would be more appropriate, but if you need it, you need it.
