I find this Velcro strap very handy for attaching many items for easy storage or use. Examples of where I have used this product are: 1) Place insulated wire in a small spool or bundle and then wrap this tape around the bundle, simply clip and cut to length. I now have a special zip tie loop that I can remove and reuse at any time. 2) Organize and secure the "rat's nest" of wires and terminals in a neat order, then periodically roll up to create a neat, organized circuit at the end. 3) I've also used this zip tie to secure a coiled water hose, fifty foot electrical extension cords, bundles of wooden dowels, flags coiled to a small flagpole, and more. The applications are endless. All from a small, rolled-up supply of Cable Tidy. The only thing I don't like is that the black material can't be easily marked with a quick-tip pen. There is also a white or silver manufacturer's logo that is repeated across the entire spool.
