Sharp and durable
I use them to cut out the front pockets of my Hydro wallets that I sell in my Etsy shop. This keeps the fabric from fraying so I can iron the right side and sew it securely. They are nice and sharp and easily cut through heavier material. They are quite heavy and work great for what I need. If you cut a lot or have arthritis, they may be too heavy for you.
