Excellent Brace to Immobilize Ankle

This is a very good brace for fractures of the foot, ankle sprains or even ankle fractures after the cast is removed. It does not completely immobilize the ankle joint but comes very close. Something similar at a durable medical equipment store will be in $200 range.The bulb for air cells is separate, so is easy to lose, and I wish this brace had a built-in air pump. If you do not need to immobilize ankle and have just the foot fracture - like metatarsal bone - then go for Short Cam Walker Fracture Boot, Small , which is less bulky and has a built-in air pump.
