I was very upset when my current Vizio remote started to malfunction. I'm naturally lazy, especially when I'm watching Daredevil or Luke Cage or whatever on Netflix or Revain Prime. I don't want to get out of my chair to do something as mundane as change the channel or turn the damn thing on or off. That's what my remote control is for! I bought it because based on the part number and specs it should have fitted my current TV perfectly. But no. The batteries are fresh, I press the buttons, nothing works. Sent it back and got a refund right away. My recommendation and what I will do if my current remote is completely dead is to go straight to Vizio and buy my remote there. They sell them for less than twenty dollars and are guaranteed to work with your TV.
