I bought this item to see how fast my drone can fly and how far it can fly with a cheap transmitter. The device is lightweight, well designed and easy to use. There are only two buttons, one for power and activation and the other for modes 1, 2 and 3. Simple. I was able to compare accuracy to a long survey tape and even compare range readings from one of my drones. At 33 feet he was spot on and at over 100 feet he was a few feet away. As promised. Flag mode was my favorite mode. This is the second mode. Just aim, hold the power button, move the x slightly along the target and it will vibrate as it displays the distance. To measure speed, press the button while the object is passing the target. It took a little practice, but eventually I got the hang of it. The built-in battery worked great. I didn't even charge this thing when I got it and used it all day like a kid with a new toy. Overall I am very happy with this device and would recommend it to anyone who wants to get an idea of the distance or speed of an object.
