Does exactly what you expect it to. Fits snugly and protects the remote from drops and falls. The glow is not as strong as I expected. I can only see the glow when the room is pitch black. And yes, I held it up to the light at first like I used to do with glow-in-the-dark toys as a kid. But aside from glowing, it still protects the remote control.
