I ordered size XL and they fit perfectly. I'm 6ft 2in / 235lbs and usually wear pants and shorts with a 38 waist size. Having recently gained about 10-12lbs I would estimate I have a 39" waist and these shorts shine good to fit a 38-40 inch waist. The ratchet strap is a bit short but works well enough that I didn't shoot the stars. I've been using these shorts at the gym for a few weeks and they are comfortable at rest and lifting and sit loose which is my preference. I've washed them about a dozen times and they seem to be holding up well and the color is still perfect. I carry my keys in my pocket and haven't seen any holes in the pocket lining. So I recently ordered 2 more pairs!
