The forefoot appears to be slightly more cushioning foam than the Wave Creation 18 or 19. The rear end (ie the Infinity Wave) also has more spring than previous models and ensures good resilience. . He handled this heel strike with ease and left no residual pain. Another nice update is the sockliner, which has slightly more foam in the heel but is noticeably thicker in the forefoot. This provides excellent mileage and requires no break-in period at all. Definitely recommend this for road or trail running but may not have the right tread pattern for trail running. I will buy again.
