I wasn't sure what I was expecting but they weren't pills. These are not breath mints that you suck on, these are softgels that you swallow and they begin to work in your stomach. The freshness amazingly comes with your burp. I took one about 15 minutes before eating the pizza, vomited shortly after eating and it had a strange taste/smell. For me it's the taste of mango that was very unexpected but enjoyable. It takes about 6 hours so get ready! The bottle is convenient, the pills are easy to swallow.
